In 2013, the call of the land became irresistible for Carlo Paoloni, son of Fulvia, who quit his job in investment banking in London to devote himself to the family business. In the 90s, his daughter Fulvia Tombolini extended the (Verdicchio) vineyard to 30 hectares and started their journey towards sustainable viticulture.

With the brand Castelfiora, which he produces in the newly built winery in Staffolo (1972), he has writen an important chapter in the history of the denomination. He is among the firsts to have adopted the “amphora” bottle, icon of the denomination. He focused on vinification in steel, imports winemaking skills from Piedmont and carefully selects the best grapes. Already in the 50s Giovanni Tombolini fully understood the potential of this autochthonous white.
